Day 1: Hanoi - Duong Lam - Son Tay (B/L)
Start cycling from Hanoi along Red River Dike, through countryside, villages to Duong Lam village (40km). Visit the village, local families, Mong Phu communal house, Mia Pagoda, Phu mother Queen temple on the way. Continue biking to upper commune to visit Phung Hung king temple, Ngo Quyen king temple and 1000 year old ‘Duoi’ tree road. Lunch in the family ancient house. Cycling to Son Tay town. Stay overnight.
Day 2: Son Tay - Tay Phuong - Tram Gian - Perfume Pagoda (B/L)
Morning leave the town for Tay Phuong pagoda, a special architecture from XVIII century and the best collection of Buddha statues built on the top of bamboo hill. Continue biking passing Quoc Oai town to Tram Gian Pagoda, a pagoda on the pine hill. Lunch break. Start again through villages, rice fields to Perfume Pagoda (45km).
Day 3: Perfume Pagoda - Ngu Dong Thi Son - Chine - Me - Tam Coc (B/L)
Early morning visit Perfume Pagoda. Start cycling to Que town to visit Ngu Dong Thi Son cave. Lunch break. Continue cycling through Chi Ne town, the beautiful mountain landscape area, turn to Me town and then to Tam Coc (50km). Overnight in Tam Coc.
Day 4: Tam Coc - Phat Diem - Co Le - Keo - Thai Binh (B/L)
Morning boat trip in Tam Coc, means Three passed grottoes on the Ngo Dong small river way. The river run through caves, rice fields and surrounded by the blue limestone mountains. Start cycling to Phat Diem cathedral, in Kim Son village - the sanctuary of catholic region in Vietnam, the unique ancient stone, wooden churches complex built in 1875. Continue (45km) to Co Le, pass Thai Binh River by the ferry to Keo pagoda, the masterpiece of architecture from 17 century with famous wooden bell tower, the biggest ancient pagoda in the North. Overnight in Thai Binh city.
Day 5: Thai Binh - Dong Hung - Ninh Giang - Hai Duong (B/L)
Leave the city, cycle to Khuoc village in Dong Hung district visit some Cheo artist families to study basic understand of this Traditional Art. Enjoy the show of different extractions of Cheo Theater in the Village Pagoda. Cycle again to Bo Duong Village, enjoy Water Puppet Show and break for lunch. Continue cycle to Thanh Mien Birds Island, take the boat and watch the natural land of tens thousands birds in late afternoon when they return home.
Day 6: Hai Duong - Cam Giang - Dong Ho - But Thap - Hanoi (B/L)
But Thap - Hanoi. Morning: cycle long way through Cam Giang town to Dong Ho painting village, a famous wood block printing on rice paper. Then cycle along Duong River dike to But Thap pagoda, a gem of Vietnam ancient architecture, contemplating stone carving collection in the banisters, bridge, towers and admire the architecture space arrangement of the site. Cross the highway 5 to Bat Trang ceramic village and then Long Bien bridge, the steel French bridge back to Hanoi.
