Itinerary
Spectacular scenery and ethnic minorities of Sapa. The northwest of Vietnam is a captivating blend of dramatic landscapes and colorful hill tribes. Sapa is set in a spectacularly beautiful valley close to the border with China.
Its breathtaking mountain scenery is some of the best in Asia. Ethnic minorities from many of the surrounding villages don their most colorful costumes and head for the famous Saturday market and hiking and trekking opportunities are in abundance
Night 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai
Our car will pick you up at your hotel and then transfer to Ha Noi Train Station to get the night train to Lao Cai station. Overnight on train.
Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa - Giang Ta Chai - Seo ghong Ho (B, L, D)
Picked up at Laocai Station to Sapa. Check in hotel & have breakfast, take a car ride along Muong Hoa valley to visit the Rattan Bridge, silver waterfall, the first village of the Red Dzao people (GiangTa Chai village). Do a trek through the forests up and down in Fanxipan range then reach Seo Chong Ho village of the Red Dzao. This is an almost untouched village and there are very few tourists getting here. In here, there is a chance to enjoy a most beautiful waterfall in Sapa which comes from a height of about 70 m. Stay overnight in this village with a Dzao family.
Day 2: Ta Trung Ho - Ban Ho (B, L, D)
Have breakfast and check out before the trip starts. Trek down to Lao Chai village to visit the Tay and Day tribes. Have a picnic lunch on the way then keep going along the bottom of the Sapa valley to get to Ta Van village, which is supposed to be the most beautiful one in the area. Afterward you head up to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Zdao tribe where you will see the amazing scenery and beautiful waterfall. Stay overnight in a local family.
Day 3: Ban Ho - Supan - Sapa (B, L, D)
Break fast at Ban Ho, Go for a walk to a waterfall called Lavie which was discovered and named by the French in the past. Say goodbye to BanHo and the family to get up to Supan village where to take car back to Sapa.
Day 4: Sapa - Lao Cai (B)
Have breaklfast at hotel. Transfer to Silver waterfall. 13 km away in the west from Sapa town, Silver waterfall is formed by sources of water from the Lo Sui Tong mountain peak. From the distance, Silver Waterfall looks like a white dragon looking down from the sky. In posture of free fall, a giant Silver Waterfall creates silver steam that will fly up and merge in space to create a both cool and cold feeling. Drive back to Sapa. Check out and transfer to Lao Cai for the train to Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi - Arrival
Getting back to Hanoi at early morning. Take a taxi to come your hotel by yourself. End of services.
