Itinerary
Cruise along one of the world's mightiest rivers - the Mekong and enjoy a tapestry of sights and sounds. Rest on the upper deck of the "Bassac" your floating hotel and enjoy a landscape of rice fields, sugar cane, forest and local life.
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Can Tho (Lunch) Start your journey south into the heart of the Mekong Delta, pass farmer tending their fields and drying their produce on the sides of the road.
Exploring the real Mekong river with visit a local village that specializes in making bamboo baskets, getting closely thousands of stock nesting in a beautiful natural environment in Stork Sanctuary.
Accommodation at Victoria Can Tho hotel, a beautiful French colonial style hotel situated on the river bank.
Day 2: Cantho - Tra On - Mang Thit (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Rising to the sounds of the Delta coming to life for another day, embark on Bassac Cruise at Can Tho at Ninh Kieu pier.
Welcome drink, introduction to the ship and crew, check into the cabins.
Departure downstream of the Hau river.
Have lunch on board while en route.
Boat cruises to nearby Tra On floating market, branching into Mang Thit River towards Co Chien River.
Rest on the upper deck or enjoy the open bar in scenery of rice fields, sugar cane, woods on the near banks. Visit a village on the banks of river Mang Thit, an opportunity to appreciate the way of life and hospitality of the local inhabitants and the orchard or rice fields nearby.
The crew will serve dinner while the Bassac is cruising Mang Thit river towards the anchorage point for the night.
The Bassac sets anchor for the night on river Mang Thit.
Day 3: Caibe - Ho Chi Minh city (Breakfast) 06: 30 Bassac cruise sets sail again through the labyrinth of creek and canals towards Cai Be. The passengers take their breakfast while enjoying the scenery on the river banks.
The Bassac crosses Co Chien river then branches into Cho Lach canal for 30 minutes through bobbling commotion of laden boats of sand and rice barges, in a scenery of fruit drying facilities and wooden ship building yards.
Arrival in Cai Be, check-out and boarding of a local boat for a tour of Cai Be floating market and handicraft.
Board on the car for driving back to Ho Chi Minh city.
End of services.

All cancellations must be received in writing, sent to us via fax or email. The following rules apply for cancellations:

More than twenty (20) days prior to departure: 20% of the deposit or 100 US$ for the administrative fee

Less than twenty (20) days prior to departure: Complete forfeiture of deposit, due to hotel charges we incur for guest no-shows
Children Policy: Children under 11 years are generally granted a reduction of 30% of the tour price, provided that they are accompanied by at least two full-paying adults and stay in the same room. An extra bed is fully charged as an adult.
Deposit & Payment: A deposit of 20% of the tour price per person plus bank charges (credit card/ bank transfer processing fees) is required upon confirmation of your booking (If this amount is less than US$100, a US$100 per person deposit will apply). Once a deposit is received it is understood that you have read, understood and accepted all our Terms and Conditions.The remaining balance of the tour price (80%) shall be paid in Vietnam within 3 days upon arrival. Unused Services: No refunds or exchanges can be made with respect to accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services, included in the tour price, but not utilized by the tour members.Travel documents will be compiled after the deposit has been received and are sent two or three weeks prior to departure. These documents will be sent via email, and should be printed out by participants and retained as a receipt. Responsibility: All possible care is taken to ensure that our suppliers maintain the highest possible standards. However, we are not responsible in any way for problems, however they arise, that result from the booking of services we do not directly control. Vietnam Paradise Travel, its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, servants or agents shall not be responsible or become liable in contract or tort for any injury, damage, loss, delay to person or property, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly due to any events beyond our control. Refunds: With Vietnam Paradise Travel, you do not have to pay for anything you do not get as we have committed with you while making your reservation.
